TV News Anchor Heading to Perth to Lead Mission

"Longtime KSL-TV anchor Bruce Lindsay has been called to serve as president of the Australia Perth Mission of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints," according to the Deseret News.

The report continues: "Lindsay is among 110 new mission presidents called to serve in countries throughout the world, the church announced."

"Lindsay, 61, announced his retirement from broadcasting in January. He is KSL-TV's primary news anchor and has anchored evening newscasts for the station continuously since 1978."
