Fiji Leader Urges Youth to 'Arise and Shine'

“About 630 young people coming from as far as Taveuni, Kadavu and Rabi to participate in the Latter-day Saints (LDS) Regional Youth Conference in Suva have been given words of advice by Social Welfare and Women's Minister Dr Jiko Luveni,” according to a report in the Fiji Times.

The article continues: “The teenage members of the LDS Church in Fiji gathered in Tamavua this week to develop leadership skills, strengthen their spiritual faith and participate in personal development activities.”

“Speaking on the theme "Arise and shine forth that thy light may be a standard for the nations", Dr Luveni reminded the youths to be aware of the decisions they make and the impact they would have on their future.”
