Kerry Owen and Laurie Keung were named this week as members of the New Zealand Order of Merit by Her Excellency, The Governor-General of New Zealand, The Rt Hon Dame Patsy Reddy.
Kerry Owen founded the charity "Feed the Need" in 2012.
Laurie Keung is the charity's general manager.
According to Feed the Need's website, "We're a Charitable Trust on a mission to feed hope to young Kiwis, one action at a time. Each action is driven by our hope that every child and young person has the opportunity to learn, thrive and become amazing.
"We began five years ago with our school lunch programme, boosting little minds and tummies with hot, healthy lunches."
Both Kerry Owen and Laurie Keung are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
