Will Hopoate to Media: 'Mormon Mission Toughened Me Up'

Rugby League player Will Hopoate told Australian media this week his missionary service for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints toughened him up as he prepares to play in game two of the annual “State of Origin” rugby league competition between New South Wales and Queensland.

“We face challenges and trials as a missionary so I feel that's helped me immensely with my footy,” he told reporters this week.
