Prince Ata is Special Guest at Tongan Alumni Events in Utah

His Royal Highness Prince Ata of Tonga visited Utah last week.

He was guest of honour at a Liahona Alumni Association reunion which culminated in a devotional at the Tabernacle on Temple Square on Sunday 28 July.

While in Utah Prince Ata visited with the mayor of Provo, Michelle Kaufusi, and Eric and Carolyn Shumway, who have served for many years in various Church assignments in the Kingdom of Tonga.

 

He was also a special guest at a Liahona Alumni Association Utah County event at Provo High School attended by close to 1,000 people.

When the Prince visited Utah in 2016 he met with Church leaders and toured several Church facilities such as the world famous Family History Library.

Prince Ata was baptised a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 2015. He first visited Salt Lake City in 2016.
