South Auckland Volunteers Pack 3000 Gift Boxes for Kids

Members and friends of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints from the Auckland New Zealand Redoubt Stake in Auckland's south helped pack 3000 gift packages for children this week.

    

The effort, called "Christmas Otara Present Drop,” was hosted by the Child Abuse Prevention Foundation and several other local sponsors.

                 

Latter-day Saints took part in response to an invitation to "Light Your Community," part of this year's #LightTheWorld Christmas initiative whch encourages people to do kind deeds for others as a way to celebrate the birth and life of Jesus Christ.
