Residents of a Vanuatu Community Help Their Presbyterian Neighbours

"It was a great day for everyone!"

On the northern end of the island of Malekula, in the Pacific nation of Vanuatu, there is a small branch of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Members of the congregation recently participated in the Pacific-wide "Come and Help” month by tidying a beach on the island of Wala.

Some came by boat from Malekula to help in the effort.

The Wala Branch members cleaned the beach for the local Presbyterian Church to help them get ready to host a conference in their village.
