Missionaries from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints participated in a multicultural youth leadership forum in Wellington, New Zealand on Saturday 7 September.
Forum patron, His Excellency Mr. Jesus "Gary” Domingo, spoke about the roles of volunteers and multicultural councils, and how they can work with diplomatic organisations to serve communities.

Deputy Mayor of Wellington, Jill Day, and MP Greg O’Connor encouraged young people to engage in local and central government.
Young adults discussed and presented on the topic, “How can our increasingly diverse young leaders be empowered to add real value to Wellington’s future?”
Elder Marshall Briggs, serving as a missionary from Rexburg, Idaho, USA, spoke about the beauty of diversity.
“We can be increasingly diverse, but our diversities don’t need to divide us. I’m a missionary, but whether you’re religious or not, we can still be friends.”
