Mormon Missionaries Clean-up After Fiji Floods

Young men and women serving missions for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Fiji pitched in to help with the clean-up at the Ba Latter-day Saint Chapel after some of the worst flooding locals have seen. At some points the flood waters inside the church reached a level of five feet.

These young men and women serve members, friends and neighbours in the communities in which they live. They serve at their own expense in missions all over the world as they teach the restored gospel of Jesus Christ to those who want to know more about His life and mission.

Mormons believe that even as Jesus Christ spent His time serving and helping others, we should strive to do the same.

Watch a short video about serving others.
