Latter-day Saint Student Leaders in Fiji Ready to Serve

"With great power comes great responsibility," The Fiji Sun reported today in an article about the newly appointed head girl and head boy at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints' Fiji Church College.

The article continues:

"These were the words of Savaira Veikoso, 18, of Latter-day Saints Church College in Tamavua."

"She was honoured yesterday and inducted as the school’s headgirl."

“I’m very excited because this badge comes with a lot of new responsibilities,” Savaira told the Fiji Sun.

“The badge means a lot to me and I want to give my best to meet the schools expectations.”

"Savaira said she was looking forward to her new role and thanked her teachers for having faith in her."
