Kiwi Youth Look to the Future with Hope and Joy

'For the Strength of Youth' Conference opens this week in Auckland

Young members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints began arriving at King's College in Auckland, New Zealand on Monday, 4 January for the "FSY NZ 2021" conference. The 'For the Strength of Youth' FSY conference this week, is for youth aged 14-15 years and next week for those aged 16-17 years. The attendees come from 12 stakes in Auckland, Whangarei and Kaikohe.

FSY is designed to help youth have fun as they apply the gospel in all aspects of their life. Youth participate in five days of devotionals, classes, and activities that aim to help strengthen their faith in Jesus Christ and feel joy and belonging as they live the gospel.

Young people are connecting with others from across the region with games and social activities.  FSY also includes workshops on wide ranging topics and a chance to hear inspiring messages from Church leaders including members of the Pacific Area Presidency and their wives.

FSY conference proceedings are being posted daily on Facebook including photos of activities and videos of youth sharing their experiences.
