General Conference to Air on TV and Radio on April 11-12 in Several South Pacific Nations

In the past, members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in many parts of the world, including in the South Pacific, have met the weekend after the faith's annual and semi-annual general conferences to view the sessions together.

Since this is not an option due to COVID-19 concerns, the Church has arranged to broadcast the 190th annual General Conference via television and radio in many areas which may have limited Internet.

In a social media post on April 1, President Russell M. Nelson wrote: “I extend a warm welcome to all, regardless of your faith tradition, to join with us through technology and to rejoice in the comforting power of revealed truth. I love you. I pray for you. And I assure you that the Lord is watching over us during these troubling times.”
