"I have had some amazing experiences hosting the tours with the families of our cemetery residents,” Sandi said. “It’s been a great opportunity to talk about family research, and I always recommend to anyone interested in finding their ancestors to visit a family history centre at one of our branches and to check out FamilySearch and RootsTech.”

Connecting and learning about our families is an important tenet of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It is also a hobby shared by millions of people world-wide.

Speaking of family history, Russell M. Nelson, president of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, said, “When our hearts turn to our ancestors, something changes inside us. We feel part of something greater than ourselves.”
