Church Donates COVID-19 Test Cartridges to Port Vila Hospital

In an effort to help reduce the burden of COVID-19 testing associated with the arrival and departure of people either being repatriated to their family in Vanuatu or from Vanuatu to their home country, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints recently donated 35 GeneXpert COVID-19 test cartridges to the Vanuatu Port Vila Central Hospital.

“We are happy to assist in some small measure the efforts made by so many dedicated healthcare workers and government officials to keep Vanuatu COVID-free and safe,” said President Benoit Duquette of the Church’s Port Vila Vanuatu Mission.
